Child Dental Benefits Schedule
CDBS (Child Dental Benefits Schedules) can provide basic dental services for children aged 2 to 17. It includes a cap of $1000 over 2 consecutive calendar years. The cap period starts when your child gets their first eligible dental service. Services can include examinations, x rays, cleanings, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, extractions, and partial dentures.
The CDBS cannot cover orthodontic, cosmetic dental work or any dental services provided in hospital.
